Condolences

Condolence From: Jessica Gaudin
Condolence: Everyone always says they have the best grandma in the world, but of course we are all bias towards our own grandmas. You were definitely in the running for the top spot, one in a million without a doubt. I dont remember you ever getting mad at us kids even though im sure we aggravated you, you would just run us out of the house or into the basement. You could always hear us snooping in the deep freezer from upstairs no matter how much noise we made or how sneaky we tried to act. You always had sweets in the house, you kept the candy dish full, the cookie jar stocked and there was always a cake in the pan. You were an incredible cook and I still brag about your food. You made the best vegetable soup and always sent home extra with Mom. When you would babysit you always made hamburgers but they were on little buns and Jeff and I called them Ellie burgers, or meatloaf, mashed potatoes and baked beans. You always cooked with an apron on and you peeled your potatoes in the living room watching your talkshows. Some Saturdays you would go to Madison with us and you knew I got car sick so you would always bring a wet rag in a ziplock bag and some crackers for me. I liked working in the garden with you as a kid picking beans and later snapping them, shucking corn, carrying melons up to the garage door. Going out into the field and looking for your cake knife because you would always forget and toss it with the scraps. You sent the silliest cards sometimes with stickers all over them and you never forgot an occasion. I could go on and on about you and fill up this page plus some but you would say thats enough and to quit fussing. I will cherish these memories and the many others I have of you. You will be forever missed and always loved. Love Always, Jessie
