Life Story for Bill Keith Lynam

Mr. Bill Keith Lynam, age 77, near Mt. Sterling, Indiana, entered this life on September 9, 1935, in Mount Sterling, Kentucky, the loving son of the late, Walter Thorton & Christine Leroy (Ferguson) Lynam. He was raised in Cincinnati, Ohio, where he attended school. Bill was united in marriage on December 4, 1954, in Cincinnati, Ohio, to Evelyn Jean Johnson & to this union arrived four sons & three daughters to bless their home. Bill & Evelyn shared nearly 59 years of marriage together until his death. Bill was a former Shipping & Receiving Clerk at the Kroger Company in Cincinnati, Ohio, retiring in 1998, after 43 years of service. Bill was a former Security Guard for Pinkerton Security in Cincinnati, Ohio, for 8 years. Bill & Evelyn resided the past 22 years in Switzerland County, Indiana. Bill was a former member of the Greendale Baptist Church in Greendale, Indiana. Bill was a Deacon at the Mt. Sterling Baptist Church in Mt. Sterling, Indiana & was a member of the Long Run Brotherhood Association. Bill will be remembered for his love of golfing, hunting, working in the fields & aggravating his wife. Bill died at 9:40 am, Monday, March 25, 2013, at his residence near Mt. Sterling, Indiana.

Bill will be missed by his wife of nearly 59 years: Evelyn Jean (Johnson) Lynam near Mt. Sterling, IN; his daughters: Teresa Brown & her husband: David of Rising Sun, IN; Tonja Oelker & her husband: Dale of Louisville, KY; Gina Miles & her husband: Steve of Mt. Sterling, IN; his sons: Bill Keith "Bink" Lynam, Jr & his wife: Cathy of Lawrenceburg, IN; Tim Lynam & his wife: Mindy of Columbus, GA; David Lynam & his wife: Felicia of Vevay, IN; Donald Lynam of Newport, KY; his 19-grandchildren & his numerous great-grandchildren; his sisters: Peggy Otto of Versailles, IN; Mollie Brazier of Mount Carmel, OH; his several nieces & nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents: Walter Thorton & Christine Leroy (Ferguson) Lynam; his brothers: Walter "Frank" Lynam & John Lynam.

Memorial service will be conducted Saturday, March 30, 2013, at 12:00 pm, by Rev. Mike Sawalich, at the Mt. Sterling Baptist Church, 7698 State Road 56, Vevay, Indiana 47043.
