Life Story for Debra Lee "Debbie" Schirmer

Debra Lee "Debbie"  Schirmer
Debra Lee "Debbie" Schirmer, age 60, of Vevay, Indiana, entered this life on February 20, 1954, in Madison, Indiana, the loving daughter of, Byron L. "Pat" & Jane (Scott) Schirmer. She was raised in Switzerland County & graduated in Madison, Indiana. Debbie was a former employee for Sandstone in Madison, Indiana, where she enjoyed working there the past 20 years. She resided in the Switzerland County community all of her life. Debbie enjoyed the Special Olympics, NASCAR, especially watching Jeff Gordon race, Elvis Presley, playing cards, reading books & watching videos. Debbie died at 9:00 pm, Friday, December 19, 2014, at the Swiss Villa Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Vevay, Indiana.

Debbie will be missed by her loving mother: Jane (Scott) Schirmer of Vevay, IN; her brother: Billy Schirmer of Vevay, IN; her sister: Cindy Varble of Moorefield, IN; her niece: Whitley Schirmer; her nephews: Bobby Varble, Brandon Schirmer & Colton Schirmer.

She was preceded in death by her father: Byron L. "Pat" Schirmer, died January 7, 1991; her brother: Terry Joe Schirmer, died December 8, 1955; her sister: Linda Lou (Schirmer) Mello, died March 23, 2014; her brother-in-laws: Charles Brian Varble, died November 26, 2003 & Stephen Perry "Steve" Mello, died April 16, 2014.

Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, December 23, 2014, at 11:00 am, by Bro. Jeremiah Haynes, at the Haskell & Morrison Funeral Home, 208 Ferry Street Vevay, Indiana.

Interment will follow in the Vevay Cemetery, Vevay, Indiana.

Friends may call 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm, Monday, December 22, 2014, at the Haskell & Morrison Funeral Home 208 Ferry Street Vevay, Indiana.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Special Olympics. Cards are available at the funeral home.
