Mrs. Mary Elizabeth (Knaus) Reynolds, age 88, of Indianapolis, Indiana, formerly of Switzerland County, Indiana, entered this life on March 9, 1927, in Switzerland County, Indiana, the daughter of the late, Earl Knaus and Mira Marie (Scudder) Knaus Boyd. She was raised in Switzerland County, Indiana and attended the Patriot High School. Mary was united in marriage on June 25, 1946, in Ripley County, Indiana, to the late, Carl William Reynolds and to this union arrived two daughters, Darlene and Donna and two sons, Eddie and Cecil to bless their home. She was employed as a line worker for Western Electric in Indianapolis, Indiana, retiring on June 22, 1985, after 28 years of service. Mary resided in the Indianapolis community since 1956. She was a past member of the Indianapolis VFW Ladies Auxiliary Post #261. Mary enjoyed playing euchre in her spare time. Mary died at 3:05 pm, Monday August 10, 2015, at the4 Millers Mary Manor in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Mary will be missed by her daughters: Darlene Dawn Reynolds of Indianapolis, IN & Donna Jean (Reynolds) Byrd of Cleveland, OH; her son: Eddie Gale Reynolds of Indianapolis, IN; her granddaughter: Natisha Dawn (Reynolds) Wilson; her great-grandchildren; her sister: Ramona Vest of Madison, IN; her brother: Gary Boyd of Scottsburg, IN & her several nieces & nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Earl Knaus & Mira Marie (Scudder) Knaus Boyd; her step-father: Hollis Boyd, died in 1972; her husband: Carl William Reynolds, died May 9, 1981; her son: Cecil William Reynolds, died in 1954 & her brother: Arnold Boyd, died in 1994.

Funeral services will be conducted Friday, August 14, 2015, at 1:00 pm, by Bro. Jeremiah Haynes, at the Haskell & Morrison Funeral Home, 208 Ferry Street Vevay, Indiana 47043.

Interment will follow in the Vevay Cemetery, Vevay, Indiana.
