Barbara...what an amazing, strong, dedicated woman. One to admire. I met Barbara when I was 16 years old and we went through times where we shared intense emotions. What a wonderful, caring, brave woman. I have two most memorable moments......#1 her imoression of Edith Ann in the chair, hanging upside down (what a hoot), and #2 driving over the bridge to Louisville for her first time, scared to death, grasping the steering wheel for dear life, telling us to shut up, and stiff as a board. She reached the end of the bridge without a hiccup and we laughed and laughed!! So much fun. Singing in the car, dancing ,cooking, a friend to confide in, understood humancy without judgement, pistol, protective momma bear, fun and loving. What a wonderful and memorable mark you have left Barbara. I wish you peace and your family comfort and the best memories. Love, Maureen
